We stayed in 3 different hotels during our. Road trip over a 2 week period and this one was by far the best! The beds are to die for. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud that enveloped my body but somehow still supported it (I previously injured my back).

If you're visiting this area you can't go wrong with this Doubletree. It was convenient to area attractions and popular restaurants. Located next to a large Mall with lots of shopping choices. Front desk was very friendly and helpful when our room coffee machine did not work, we were given free coffee from the hotels full service restaurant. Our room and the hotel were very comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Not as good as it was
09/29/2008I didn't get the reservation as confirmed. i was confirmed a smoking room with a king bed...got a non smoking room with 2 doubles. the front desk people ...
I didn't get the reservation as confirmed. I was confirmed a smoking room with a King bed...got a non smoking room with 2 doubles. The front desk people seemed confused and had difficulty processing my reservation at all. A service person dropped a glass and it broke on the hall tile on Friday night...shards were still there on Sunday. The rooms were clean and the hotel is lovely. Restaurant on premisis is excellent..for dinner. Although the bartender didn't show up his substitute made every effort to accomodate us...even though she didn't know how to make a cosmo or a manhattan. The breakfast buffet was another story...hard as a rock bacon and sausage,watery eggs, tasteless grits, horrendous coffee. Last year it was wonderful. It has gone down hill in one year although the price went up by almost ***night and I'm not sure if I would go back next year

At $$$ a nite you'd expect better proximity not to mention accomodations. While the room was clean and the hotel was nice, I can't justify spending that kind of money for a one nite business trip but there were lots of foreigners who seemed happy to spend the $$$. On the plus side you get a flat screen TV w/ lots of channels. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C was ice cold. The restraurant was solid but the menu choice were few. Again, nothing to complain about just not worth the $$$.

There was a great deal of road contruction on the Hwy from NY and Travis on the front desk helped guide me in with directions right to the front door. He is a really great person and very good at his job. The room was very large and very nice. I will definitely stay here again.
